WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Working closely with Purchasing and Parts Managers, Purchasing Agents, and customers on anticipated needs and timelines for orders
- Searching for and negotiating pricing
- Vendor management
- Invoice management
- Inventory management
- Lead time and backorder monitoring
- Assisting accounts receivable
- Tracking and returning core items
- Managing tracking of parts
- Following safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE
- 2+ years of purchasing experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Belief that safety is a necessity, not an option
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel and Word) and company management software (i.e. Manager Plus)
- Exceptional, professional communication skills
- Effective organizational abilities
- An understanding of the importance of time management and prioritization
- Negotiation capabilities
- Detail oriented
- Collaborative spirit
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think outside the box
