WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Working closely with Purchasing and Parts Managers, Purchasing Agents, and customers on anticipated needs and timelines for orders
  • Searching for and negotiating pricing
  • Vendor management
  • Invoice management
  • Inventory management
  • Lead time and backorder monitoring
  • Assisting accounts receivable
  • Tracking and returning core items
  • Managing tracking of parts
  • Following safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 2+ years of purchasing experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Belief that safety is a necessity, not an option
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel and Word) and company management software  (i.e. Manager Plus)
  • Exceptional, professional communication skills
  • Effective organizational abilities
  • An understanding of the importance of time management and prioritization
  • Negotiation capabilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think outside the box
